Hamilton Island Race Week and Ocean Adventure Sailing
Hamilton Island Race Week is the premier Australian sailing regatta and each year thousands of sailors and celebrities are drawn to the island for this magic week of sailing. The 9 races are sailed around the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands including Lindeman, Dent and South Molle. EastSail will have two of our competitive Beneteau First 40 yachts competing in Hamilton Island Race Week in August. Join the crew of Iago or Leeward in this exciting week of racing with Ben McGrath aboard Iago or John Quinn aboard Leeward - both have had previous podium finishes over the last few years. August 17-24th.

We are conducting RYA sailing courses at Competent Crew, Dayskipper and Coastal Skipper level along the picturesque NSW and Queensland coasts during July-September aboard the Beneteau First 40 'Iago'.This is a great opportunity to improve your sailing skills and add miles to your log book.

This motor boat is available as an 18 knot speed boat for licensed drivers, or is speed limited to 7.5 knots for unlicensed drivers. Discover Sailing - RYA/YA Sailing School Training Courses......Learn to Sail
Our beginner and intermediate level sailing school, learn to sail RYA courses: Start Yachting, Competent Crew and Dayskipper courses are running every month. Learning to sail aboard our Beneteau 40.7 yachts you will sail Sydney Harbour and offshore, up the NSW coast, included in the course is night sailing and navigation RYA courses are recognised in Australia and internationally sailing courses. Try sailing by enrolling into our 'Sails and Ales' club races, next one is on Saturday May 11- sailing followed by a dock BBQ. $95 with a $50 rebate offered off a subsequent course booking.
International Certificate of Competence (ICC)
The ICC is essentially a bareboat charter certificate required in many countries. The ICC is documentary proof that the holder is competent and this certificate of competence is mandatory for chartering yachts overseas in countries such as Croatia and Turkey. We are able to examine for both sail and power ICC (International Certificate of Competence) The ICC consists of practical and theory elements that will be assessed over 4 hours.
