Sydney Harbour plays host to a variety of special events throughout the year and there's no better way to celebrate than out on the water with EastSail!!

If there's a major event happening on Sydney Harbour, EastSail will be organising a yacht/s or cruiser for either a scheduled cruise or charter. New Years Eve and the world renowned NYE fireworks display, Boxing Day for the start of The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, Australia Day, Father's Day and the Start of the Sydney to Southport Yacht Race are just a few examples of events EastSail celebrates on Sydney Harbour each year.

2013 - NYE boat hire

There is no better place to see Sydney's world renowned New Years Eve fireworks displays than from the deck of your own yacht. There are 2 fireworks shows, one at 9pm and the other at midnight. Your NYE boat charter can be a drive or sail yourself hire to experienced drivers, or you hire one of our experienced skippers. Round up some friends for a truly memorable way to welcome in the new year.

Boxing Day 2013

Experience the excitement and magic of the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race on Boxing Day. Charter your own yacht, bareboat or with skipper or join one of our Boxing Day cruises. Rushcutters Bay is the place to start this adventure! See the racing yachts doing their final preparation at the adjacent Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, then watch as they depart the dock and hoist their sails, rehearsing their racing manoeuvres as the count down to the 1pm Sydney to Hobart race approaches. Skippered sailing and luxury spectator cruising aboard MV Yarranabbe both available on Boxing Day on Sydney Harbour.

Australia Day 2014

There is so much to see on Australia Day on Sydney Harbour- the Great Ferry Boat Race, floating concerts, the RAAF Hornet display, helicopter rescue demo, tall ships, sailing regattas, jazz, and the Australia Day fireworks extravaganza in Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour . . settle back in the comfort of an EastSail yacht with a hamper of seafood and ice cold drinks and take in the sights on this special day. Valentines Day 2014

For a special night take your sweetheart out on a romantic overnight aboard one of our yachts or cruisers this Valentines Day. Your own private yacht for the evening, including a 2 hour cruise under sail and a seafood hamper aboard. The skipper will anchor the yacht in a secure cove for the night and come back the next morning - starry, starry night!
