With beautiful Sydney Harbour as your playground...just imagine the fun of chartering a yacht with EastSail! Getaway on an EastSail boat charter and enjoy the exhilaration of sailing on a Sydney Harbour escape.

Bareboat yacht charter is available to experienced sailors and with more than 20 yachts available, EastSail has Sydney's most exciting boat hire fleet to choose from. Our new Dufour 335 Grande Large and the new Dufour performance 36 yachts, the racy, locally produced, Sydney 36's to our magnificent fleet of Beneteau 40's - the 40.7, First 40 and Oceanis 40, all EastSail sail boats are specially equipped combining performance and luxury. We have one Beneteau First 40 in survey for offshore chartering to suitably experienced sailors.
Our yachts are conveniently moored alongside our marina on the d'Albora Marina in Rushcutters, adjacent to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYC).

Standard facilities include:

On request and at no additional cost, we can also provide an awning and children's life jackets. Linen, including towels, pillows, blankets is available for $20pp. Rigid plastic rowing dinghy may be available on request, inflatable dinghy may be available $150 per charter plus bond.

Suggested Passage Plans...

A weekend away without leaving home! Sailing in Sydney Harbour.


5pm: Pick up your charter boat from Rushcutters Bay for a twilight sail on Sydney Harbour, a cold glass of your favourite drink in your hand, oblivious to the hustle and bustle of peak hour traffic
7pm: Anchor in Athol Bay. Unpack the picnic hamper and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the city skyline


8am: Row ashore to Whiting Beach for an early morning walk
Breakfast aboard then hoist sails for a cruise to Store Beach at Little Manly
Noon: Drop anchor for lunch and a swim. Relax with a good book, or a glass of wine for the afternoon
5pm: Sail down Middle Harbour to catch the 6.30pm Spit Bridge opening
7pm: Book a berth at d’Albora Marina* at the Spit, dine at either 'Plonk' beach Cafe at Fergusons Boatshed or 'Orso Restaurant' waterside restaurants or at the hatted 'Ormeggio' on the d'Albora Marina. *to book a pen call 99607700, advise us so we can ensure mooring lines are aboard.


9am: Breakfast under way as you explore the scenic upper reaches of Middle Harbour
11.30: Catch the Spit Bridge opening and anchor for lunch at Castle Rock, Middle Harbour. Look out for the mobile cappuccino and ice cream boat for a Sunday treat!
2pm: Hoist sails for an exciting sail back down the harbour
5pm: Step off the yacht, totally refreshed!
Perhaps a de-brief at the adjacent Cruising Yacht Club in Rushcutters Bay

For extended charters the yachts can be sailed around Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. One of our Beneteau First 40's is in offshore survey so can be sailed up the coast to Pittwater and the Hawkesbury or Port Stephens. Why join a club or boat share arrangement and be stuck with capital and ongoing maintenance costs when you can charter a boat for a fraction of the cost? You are welcome to visit our marina to view fleet.

Enquire about yacht hire for Boxing Day, see the start of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia's most famous race, the Sydney to Hobart race, or charter a yacht for New Year's Eve on Sydney Harbour to get a front row seat to the fabulous fireworks display. Other special days on the harbour are Australia Day and Easter weekend chartering. We also charter our sailing boats with a skipper for private and corporate sailing, or industry sailing days.
