"Just a quick note to say thanks for running such a great sea safety survival course and delivering it in such a practical manner. I realised upon comparing notes with other friends who had done the course through different institutions that the level of information imparted was definitely of a higher and more practical standard than some other sailors had received. I don't think I fully understood the importance of this until I was in the unfortunate position of going MOB during a race at night 10 miles offshore in 4m swells and 20 knots of breeze recently and can honestly say that without having done the course there is a good chance I would not have been able to stay afloat or allowed myself to be found for the 20 minute period in which I was in the water. It was just so important, I really think no one should go offshore without having done this course. Particularly the practical component. Thanks again for running such an excellent, well informed program."
